诚信是关公雕塑被神化的根本吗

中国自古就有将道德诚信作为信仰的诉求，比如民间对“关公雕塑的崇拜”就是对诚信、仗义的“神化”。那么关公被神化全部都是因为诚信吗？他之所以被神化诚信是其根本吗？

诚信是儒家的道德追求。本来打仗与行商是两回事，由于关羽以信义卓著，打通了诚信与仁义二者的界限。于是，手握大刀的关羽被后来的商家视为“善財之神”。

Honesty is the moral pursuit of Confucianism. Originally, fighting war was different from doing business. Because Guan Yu was outstanding in his faith and righteousness, he broke the boundary between honesty and benevolence. As a result, Guan Yu, who held a broadsword, was regarded by later merchants as the "God of Wealth".

在华容道上，他冒着自己违反军令的生死风险，大胆放走了曹操。义理是仁心，自此一个以义报恩，义无反顾的关公形象进入了人们视野。

On Huarong Road, he risked his life and death to violate the military order and boldly let Cao Cao go. Righteousness is benevolence. Since then, the image of Guan Gong, who repays kindness with righteousness and never turns back, has entered people's vision.

中国人历来恪守儒家的“君子喻于义，小人喻于利”的教诲，关羽是“言必信，行必果”的君子，所以赢得社会的信任和敬仰，至此关羽的诚信得到了社会的广泛的认同。这也正是其后来被神化的思想根据。

Guan Yu is a gentleman who "promises and acts with determination", so he has won the trust and admiration of the society. So far, Guan Yu's integrity has been widely recognized by the society.
